MassCEC is requesting responses from prospective growth-stage startup companies with regard to their Request for Information in participating in the new CriticalMass technology development program. CriticalMass will provide a suite of support services and grants of up to $1,000,000 to climatetech startup companies undertaking deployment-scale commercialization projects.
Selected CriticalMass startup companies will work with a support service advisor and Entrepreneur-in-Residence. These individuals will facilitate relationships between the startup companies and key stakeholders such as corporate, university or municipal project deployment partners, subject matter experts, and investors throughout the duration of the award timeline.
Responses to this Request for Information will be used to develop the startup company Request for Proposals which will be the official means through which startup companies can apply to the CriticalMass program.
Who should respond: MassCEC welcomes responses from growth-stage startup companies developing climatetech solutions (as defined in the RFI) with Technology Readiness Levels of 8+ and the intention of undertaking their first commercial deployment or last pilot project before commercialization.
How to respond: Please respond to this RFI by submitting your responses to the Startup RFI Survey.
Deadline for responses: March 31, 2025
