As part of the Solarize Massachusetts program, MassCEC will provide an installer request for proposals (RFP) to the installer industry. Once installer request for proposals documentation is available, MassCEC will post it to this webpage, as well as a copy of the community marketing plan. Interested installers may also sign up for solar program email updates to be notified for when new requests are released. See the Active Requests for Proposals section below, for more details.
All resulting solar PV projects contracted by Installers that are selected to participate in a community Solarize Mass program will be required to have meet MassCEC's Solarize Mass Project Minimum Technical Requirements, found below.

All installers who participate in the Solarize Mass program are bound by MassCEC's Code of Conduct.

Active Solarize-like Community Programs
There are communities currently running Solarize-like campaigns that are not funded by MassCEC. To the best of our abilities we will update RFP opportunities. See below for active opportunities.
- 2021 Metro-West Regional Solar + Clean Heat Challenge Program: The Towns of Ashland, Natick, Holliston and City of Framingham seek proposals from solar photovoltaic, air source heat pump, and ground source heat pump installers.The application deadline is Wednesday, March 31, 2021.
