MassCEC seeks Statements of Qualifications from Architectural & Engineering firms with extensive experience in Massachusetts to provide architectural design services for a new NBMCT Terminal Building in New Bedford, Massachusetts. The new terminal building will serve as a multi-use building offering a combination of office and warehouse space to support the multi-purpose terminal facility and meet the requirements of future marine industrial tenants.
The office space will be a combination of terminal administrative offices dedicated to the MassCEC management team and an open floor plan for terminal tenant office space to accommodate management offices, meeting and collaboration space consisting of shared conference rooms, training room, hoteling stations. In addition, the common areas would include kitchen area, bathrooms/showers/locker rooms, break rooms and a reception area.
The warehouse space will be open concept and serve as medium/heavy industrial storage, open workshop and/or fabrication area for the terminal tenant occupancy with approximately 20-ft height clearances and accommodations for shipping receiving and terminal distribution delivery access points.
