Job Summary:
We’re looking for a curious, active, crew member to perform weatherization installation including air sealing and insulation. The Weatherization Technician will work on a team led by a Crew Lead installing air sealing and insulation measures. We are currently hiring for a crew serving Central and Western MA.
The Weatherization Technician will work in occupied homes taking direction from the Crew Lead to install weatherization measures. The primary job function will be weatherization scope installation including air sealing and insulation, though there will be opportunity to learn building science testing techniques including blower door testing, combustion safety testing and additional testing and diagnostic procedures.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Follow instructions and install air sealing, insulation and weatherization measures to MassSave and company standards.
- Arrive on time to job sites with a good attitude ready to improve someone’s home.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Satisfactory interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to communicate in English. Other languages valued.
Ability to use good judgment, work independently and as a team.
Follow safety procedures and use required safety equipment.
Required Qualifications:
- 18+ years of age
- Valid Massachusetts Driver’s License and clean driving record
- Must pass Criminal Background check and Drug screen
- Be a good teammate
- Positive attitude, curiosity and willingness to learn new skills
Valued, but not required:
- Light carpentry skills as required for weatherization work scopes
- 6 months or more of experience as a weatherization installer
- Experience working in occupied housing

Compensation from $40,000-$80,000 per year depending on performance
