Essential Functions: The Regional Energy Manager is responsible for advancing existing and developing new sustainability plans to address key issues that vary in the Towns of Dunstable, Littleton, Pepperell, and Townsend, including renewable energy planning, building energy infrastructure, and climate resiliency. Duties and Responsibilities: This position provides professional and direct technical assistance and support to four Towns and is employed by NMCOG to advance a wide variety of tasks including, but not limited to the following:
Candidates must have either a: • Bachelor's degree plus a minimum of five years of professional experience working directly with energy or climate issues in a public or private sector setting. Bachelor’s degree preferred in Renewable Energy, Energy Conservation, Engineering, or Business Administration. • Master's degree in planning, public policy, engineering, or public or business administration, with training in energy systems, climate, or related disciplines and a minimum of three years of professional experience working directly with energy or climate issues in a public or private sector setting.
