Job Details
Location: Boston, MA. Will maintain core Mountain Time working hours (9am-5pm MT)
About Us
For roughly 500,000 years, humans have been burning stuff to heat our homes, burning stuff to light our homes, and burning stuff to power our machines. It’s 2025, people. Let’s change that.
Right now, homes account for roughly 20% of the world’s carbon emissions. Here at Elephant Energy, we know that there is a better way, so we are building a one-stop shop that makes it easy to upgrade to a climate-friendly home. We enable homeowners to confidently make the switch to modern, electric technologies and get their homes off of fossil fuels – all at once, or over time.
Our History
Founded in 2021 by DR and Josh with the goal to accelerate the end of fossil fuel use, our first installation was in Boulder, Colorado in December 2021 and in three short years, we have successfully:
- Launched a second market in Boston, Massachusetts, in the summer of 2023
- Installed >1,000 heat pumps in >500 unique homes, receiving these amazing Google reviews along the way
- Amassed 60+ herdmembers, with plans to continue to expand based on our early and continued success in #electrifyingeverything
- Completed a successful Seed stage fundraise, with plans to raise a Series A this year.
About The Role
What you would be doing: We are excited to add a Marketing Manager to help grow our partnership, community, and events marketing programs. Reporting to the Head of Marketing, this role requires a blend of partnership marketing expertise and event know-how to create a comprehensive presence for Elephant Energy’s products and mission. Other responsibilities include, though are not limited to:
Big Things:
- Develop our partnership marketing strategy: Work with cross-functional stakeholders to create, deploy, and report on co-marketing initiatives with partners such as utilities, energy and storage providers (solar and battery installers), local contractors, and energy advocates to broaden our reach and credibility.

- Build and maintain marketing material: Develop a playbook and corresponding material set, like email templates, landing pages, presentations, and brochures, to effectively communicate the benefits of home electrification and Elephant Energy products.
- Monitor and evaluate success: Analyze partnership and event performance through lead data, conversions, and attendee feedback, adjusting strategies as needed to maximize ROI.
- Identify and evaluate event opportunities: Research, analyze, and recommend the climate and energy events with the highest likelihood of reaching our target customer: homeowners looking for a climate-friendly home. This may include trade shows, local fairs, home improvement expos, and sustainability events.
- Coordinate event logistics: Handle all event logistics from booking and setup to staffing and teardown. Work closely with event organizers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution.
Little Things:
