About the Role
We are seeking a passionate and skilled Account Executive to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in expanding our reach and impact, by selling our Transparency Solutions, including technical services and Transparency Catalog subscriptions, directly to manufacturers and influential trade associations across North America. This is a unique opportunity to contribute significantly to the sustainable transformation of the building and construction industry.
Your Impact
- Sales Excellence: Drive the sales process from prospecting to closing, utilizing your strong skills in discovery, qualification, and handling objections. Your focus will be on both acquiring new accounts and upselling to existing ones, across various decision-maker and influencer roles.
- Strategic Engagement: Develop and maintain a robust pipeline of prospects, engaging customers effectively to communicate the benefits and value of our solutions through the full sales cycle. Your efforts will be pivotal in fostering excellent customer relations, facilitating up-selling, add-on sales, and account retention.
- Data Management: Ensure meticulous management of sales data within Salesforce.com, keeping the platform current with leads, opportunities, and customer information to manage the pipeline efficiently.

- Industry Experience: Prior experience in selling to building product manufacturers, and familiarity with the architecture and green building industry, will be highly regarded.
Your Background
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in an Account Executive role or similar, with a proven track record in B2B sales, ideally within the software or SaaS domain.
- Experience in the building products, architecture, construction industry, or product transparency (EPD and/or material assessment) is a plus.
- Skills: Exceptional organizational, communication, and time management skills, with the ability to work autonomously. Proficiency in using Salesloft. Your sales acumen should be complemented by excellent phone and cold calling skills, and the ability to conduct compelling web demos.
- Education: A BA/BS degree in business, marketing, architecture/design/construction, sustainability, or a technical discipline is preferred.
