Please describe the nature of the business or organization
New England for Offshore Wind is a collaborative, broad-based coalition that includes partners from a diverse array of organizations and communities across New England. We are committed to combatting climate change by increasing the supply of clean energy to our regional grid through more procurements of responsibly developed offshore wind. We believe that offshore wind is the single biggest lever we can pull to address the climate crisis while also strengthening our regional economy, protecting ratepayers, improving public health by reducing pollution, and creating high-quality jobs and equitable access to economic opportunity. Our coalition aims to drive regional collaboration and increased ambition on offshore wind across states and ensure that projects come online in a timely and responsible way.
