DOE Issues Request for Information for the ARPA-E Program

DOE has issued a Request for Information (RFI) from the public and stakeholders for the Advanced Research Projects Agency – Energy (ARPA-E) for (1) future programmatic areas for ARPA-E and (2) specific scientific or technological opportunities that are needed to address barriers in the development of commercializable technologies of relevance to ARPA-E’s mission.  This is not a funding opportunity announcement, and ARPA-E is not seeking specific project proposals at this time.  Comments in response to this RFI must be provided to ARPA-E as an attachment to an email message addressed to: arpa-e-rfi@hq.doe.gov. To be considered, comments must be provided no later than 5 pm EST on September 25, 2009, and must be in Microsoft Word (.doc) or Adobe Acrobat (.pdf) formats and with a file size no greater than 3 MB and no more than 10 pages or 10 Power Point slides.  For more information, see the full RFI
