For a list of all installers who have successfully submitted rebate applications, check out the CSHW Residential Awarded Projects Database and the CSHW Commercial Awarded Projects Database (these excel files contain information on all projects that have been awarded through the CSHW programs).

Feasibility Study applications may request up to $5,000 for a consultant to help a commercial-scale building owner assess the potential benefits of installing a solar hot water system. Projects offsetting natural gas or serving buildings that do not have a year-round load are not eligible for feasibility study funding.

Commonwealth Solar Hot Water Commercial Construction Projects
Construction rebates are calculated based on entity type (public/non-profit, or private), the number of collectors installed and the SRCC thermal performance rating of the collectors. The system also may be eligible to receive additional funding if eligible Massachusetts manufactured components are used, or if the home was affected by a natural disaster. Construction applications must include a Feasibility Study that assesses all of the items listed in the scope below. Once the installation is complete, MassCEC can reimburse the system owner or the contractor for the amount of the rebate.
